The cb200 range of conventional panels is housed in a one-size polycarbonate enclosure. The design is both modern and innovative. 

Each panel in this series is easy to install, programme and operate. This is supported by comprehensive documentation on commissioning, operating, maintenance and fault finding. 

There is a complete range of compatible accessories available to support the series and to meet customer requirements.

Technical Introduction

The cb200 conventional panel may be supplied in 1, 2, 4 or 8 zone formats. It fully complies with the requirements of BS5839 part 4. All zones and alarm circuits are monitored for open and short circuit fault conditions with detector removal facility also provided as standard. The cabinet will house 2 x 12V 2.1AH S.L.A. batteries wired in series, which will sustain an 8 zone panel for up to 24 hours.

Comprehensive user controls, including the ability to isolate each zone, assist in the prevention of unwanted alarms during periods of building maintenance or re-furbishment.  A slide-in insert is included for clear zone identification.

The electronics motherboard has been designed using the latest surface-mount technology, thus providing maximum reliability in a compact format.

General Introduction

The precept range of conventional control panels is a powerful yet user-friendly series of control panels. They are designed and manufactured to a high standard and approved by the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) to BS 5839 part 4 and by a number of international approval bodies. The precept range has earned a reputation over many years for quality and reliability and is recognised as market leader in many countries around the world. 

Each panel in this series has extensive configuration options but is easy to install, programme and operate. This is supported by comprehensive documentation on commissioning, operating, maintenance and fault finding. In addition, there is a complete range of compatible accessories available to support the series and to meet most customer requirements.

Technical Introduction

The precept panel may be supplied in 2, 4, 8, 12*, 16 or 32 zone formats. Panels are housed in well-designed enclosures with partially-glazed doors. Steel parts are finished in a hard-wearing epoxy paint.

Motherboard and display electronics are fixed to a detachable chassis, thus facilitating a completely empty enclosure for first fix installation. The motherboard is microprocessor-based and includes all the panel's electronics. The panels are approved for use with a wide range of manufacturers’ detectors.

A range of fully-flush and semi-flush bezels can be supplied for all precept control panels. There is also a complementary range of repeaters and other devices - alarm extender units, relays and power supply units - available to meet most customer requirements.

A Marine-approved Option

Based upon the standard precept panels, the precept marine conventional control panels are approved by Lloyds Register to BS5839 part 4 and to marine approvals ENV1 & 2. 

They may be supplied in 2, 4, 8, 18 or 32 zone panels and are designed for use with marine-approved detectors.
